Movement is the skill check in this game. The October 6, 2026 beginner guide says Huss Valley does not use instant Roblox walk speed.
PC inputs that guides agree on
| Action | Input | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Move | W, A, S, D | Speed builds up. Letting go coasts. |
| Side dash | Space while holding A or D | Not a forward or backward dash. |
| Instant stop | Alt | Cuts the coast. |
| Interact | E | Revives and other prompts. |
An October 2 beginner guide lists the same move, side dash, and interact keys and also describes gradual acceleration. It does not mention Alt. Treat Alt as part of the later, more complete PC write-up, and trust the on-screen control list if your build differs.
Mobile buttons and gamepad bindings for this place were not verified. Left Ctrl shift lock, Space to vault, and C to slide belong to other experiences that reuse the name.
How to make a diagonal dash
- Hold W so you are already accelerating forward.
- Add A or D so your path leans off the straight line.
- Tap Space. The dash fires sideways, so the lean is what turns it into a diagonal.
- If the Chaser swings at the line you just left, tap Alt to kill your coast, then accelerate the other way.
A dash that does nothing usually means only W or S was held. Space does not dash forward by itself.
What to drill
- Straight lines are easy to cut off. Change direction before the Chaser is in knife range.
- Coasting after you release a key is normal. Players who expect an instant stop get hit during the slide. Alt is the override.
- The side dash and Rocket Shoes are different tools. Rocket Shoes is a Chaser ability that dashes from a standstill along your move or camera direction. It does not replace the Runner Space dash.
No published guide gives a stud-per-second speed, a dash cooldown, or a measured acceleration time. Do not pay for a pass because someone called it a speed boost. The X2 EXP pass text says it doubles EXP. It does not mention move speed.
